Family Portrait Photography
Here is what my people look like lately. I have 3 sweet children, and we did a quick photo session for our Christmas card a couple months ago. My big kids sure love their baby. It's been fun to see how the big brother is such a great helper with his little sisters. They all love playing together-- the littlest enjoys watching "the show" her siblings are constantly preforming. Of course things are rarely that picture perfect at our house, but we do have a lot of fun.

Beginning Photography Class - NC Family Photographer
I'm scheduling one more Beginning Photography Class before I take a break from work to focus on the baby. (We can still schedule private classes weekday evenings, if you get a group together to take the class; but this is the last one I'm scheduling--for a few months--that's open to individual sign-ups.) I'm anticipating resuming teaching in the late summer or fall.
Beginning Photography Class: Saturday, February 18th, 9:30-12:00
The usual details: the class is $100 per person and must have a minimum of 3 participants.
Each person will receive a textbook to keep as a reference. The class will last 2.5 hours and will be limited to 3-5 people.
I will help you learn more about your camera and take better photos of your kids and friends. Here is some of what we will discuss:
- 10 tips for Taking Better Pictures
- Introduction to Exposure
- ISO
- Shutter Speed
- Aperture
- Using your Camera's Basic Settings
- Lens Overview

Happy New Year & a Baby Update
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas season, and that 2012 is getting off to a great start! Jonathan and I have been shooting maternity photos every 2 or 3 weeks since I was 16 weeks pregnant. This past Saturday (Dec 31, 2011) marked the end of the 28th week. Here are some photos from our little shoot this week; and one of me with my first (and furry) boy, Ben.
