Oh the weather outside is frightful

My husband and I took our niece, Alex, skating at Appalachian Ski Mtn's outdoor ice arena in Blowing Rock, NC. Action photography is really more of my dad's specialty (Mike Ward Photography), and I definitely didn't have the right equipment to stop the action in this low light, so these photos show more of the essence of the movement of the skaters. haha. I think they are fun.
